Shorts underneath, a wrap skirt overlay — but that description barely covers it. The shorts are hand block printed cotton, a bold red and cream geometric that is unmistakably Rajasthani. The skirt overlay is Jamdani — one of India's oldest and most revered weaving traditions, each motif built thread by thread into the fabric on a handloom. Two completely different crafts, two completely different histories, worn together as one piece.
Wrap the skirt for a longer, softer silhouette. Remove it and wear just the shorts. Style it however the day asks.
